Meet Miss Engleman

After years in the classroom, you start to notice patterns, not just in academics, but in how students approach learning.

I’ve worked with a lot of students who come into a new grade still trying to make sense of foundational skills in reading, writing, and math. When those pieces don’t fully click, learning can start to feel overwhelming.

That’s really what has shaped the way I teach.

I focus on figuring out where a student is getting stuck and breaking things down into clear, manageable steps so they can build confidence and actually understand what they’re learning.

I truly believe students do their best when learning feels structured, supportive, and within reach, not frustrating or confusing.

That’s the same approach I bring into every tutor session at CenCal.
